TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Forester Asset Management, a division of Foresters Financial™, celebrated the official opening of its new Toronto office by giving back to a worthy local cause.
More than 40 guests and Foresters employees helped create 200 care packages for Robertson House, a Toronto shelter that provides short-term accommodation for women and children, including expectant mothers. The care packages include combs, toiletries and other hygiene products to help provide everyday necessities.
“Foresters Asset Management is happy to help Robertson House with these emergency hygiene kits,” says R. Gregory Ross, President and Chief Executive Officer of Foresters Asset Management. “Embracing Foresters Purpose of giving back to the community is an integral part of our organization.”
“From the beginning Foresters has been moved to action to try and help improve the communities we live in,” says Jim Boyle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Foresters Financial. “For over 140 years this has been part of our DNA and influences everything we do.”
