Dvele was founded by two brothers, Kurt and Kris Goodjohn, experienced entrepreneurs in the high-end, modular homebuilding space. Their previous company, Karoleena, was sold to publicly traded Canadian holding company, Horizon North (HNL) in 2016. Their success motivated them to bring their unique talents to the United States and develop a platform to improve on what they started.
As Dvele’s Chief Executive Officer, Kurt Goodjohn intends to expand production with a proprietary ecosystem that automates the purchase, design, production, and assembly of their high-end homes. This ecosystem eliminates material, time, and resource waste and allows Dvele to push value at each stage of the process and for every aspect of the home.
About Dvele Homes
Kurt Goodjohn has a single-minded focus on winning the building technology space. He notes, “If we’re going to be true disruptors of the homebuilding industry, we need to do more than deliver beautiful homes. Our platform needs to be able to scale seamlessly. Our system needs to get smarter with every design, build partner, and customer living in a home. We want to challenge the way homes are designed, built, and lived in while reducing their impact on the environment and we’re assembling the team to do just that.”
Dvele homes are built to be healthy, green, smart, and high-end. Home automation is centralized in a Dvele, simplifying the experience for the homeowner. Decades of home health and energy efficiency research go into the design of each home. The company is planting 10,000 trees for every home built to further reduce the environmental impact through a partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects.
