NOVA, Saint-Gobain’s External Ventures Team, Launches New Website Geared Toward Sustainable Startup Companies

The global building materials company’s external ventures group designed a dynamic new website that explains the various opportunities for startups to connect with Saint-Gobain, its family of companies and network of partners to grow their business.

MALVERN, Pa.--()--NOVA, the external ventures group of Saint-Gobain, one of the world’s largest building materials companies and manufacturers of innovative material solutions, has launched a new website – www.nova-saint-gobain.com – to better communicate how it connects startups with the knowledge and resources they need to grow their sustainable businesses to scale.

“With a history of innovation dating all the way back to 1665, Saint-Gobain’s longevity is rooted in its ability to evolve. NOVA is integral to this evolution as our team identifies and partners with sustainable businesses to help Saint-Gobain continue its legacy of preparing for the challenges of tomorrow while enhancing the well-being of people all over the world,” said Laura Plunkett Lesker, Strategy Director, NOVA, which has a global presence in key hubs in North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Since 2006, NOVA has helped create nearly 80 partnerships with startups in various stages and in various forms, growing its portfolio mostly through referrals or established leads. The new website is geared toward raising awareness and educating potential partners and startup companies about the benefits of partnering with NOVA – including access to financial support, industry expertise, product excellence and Saint-Gobain’s robust family of companies.

“One of our challenges has been communicating NOVA’s mission to raise awareness among the startup community about the breadth of opportunities we can offer them. Our new website is a dynamic portal where startups and partners can come to learn more about the opportunities available to them within our vast network of resources so we can work together to build a sustainable future,” said Plunkett Lesker.

The site is designed to be a gateway for a broad audience of potential partners including startups, entrepreneurs, VCs/CVCs, incubators, accelerators, universities and research institutes.

At launch, the new responsive website features background information about NOVA, Saint-Gobain, and the markets it serves, as well as a newsroom and resources section where visitors can learn more. Over time, the site will also add to its showcase of successful partnership case studies and videos.
