MONTERREY, Mexico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Servicios Corporativos Javer S.A.B. de C.V., (BMV: JAVER) (“Javer” or “the Company”), the largest housing development Company in Mexico in terms of units sold, announced today that for the first time the Company was named a Socially Responsible Company (ESR for its Spanish acronym) by the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility in Mexico (AliaRSE) and the Mexican Philanthropy Center (CEMEFI).
This recognition is granted to those companies that, in addition to meeting the applicable laws, go further and include in their business strategy aspects related with social responsibility, life standards, business ethics, community engagement and environmental care.
With Javer being focused on housing development, the Company also builds communities to create social, economic and environmental value. Therefore, Javer has an established model of corporate social responsibility through which various programs are implemented such as the construction of sustainable housing, volunteer programs, the planting of nurseries and trees, human resource development, a culture of legality, and human rights, among others. In addition, this model contemplates a strict surveillance and control of the proper management of corporate governance and its value chain, measuring the impact that the Company has in each decision that is taken in this regard.
