NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Your Call Football (YCF), the gaming technology startup behind the innovative, fan-controlled, live play-calling game, today announced its inaugural games will take place on three Thursday nights in May (3, 10 and 17), and that Phenix, a global end-to-end real-time IP video solution, will live stream the games online and in the YCF app. All games will begin at 9 p.m., run approximately two hours, and take place at Historic Dodgertown in Vero Beach, Fla. Global Sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports will handle broadcast production.

YCF’s patented technology will provide fans with control of a live, streamed game – with near-zero latency. YCF’s system allows fans who download the YCF app to control the action on the field by voting on three coach-selected plays, then watch as the majority voted play is executed live on the field by YCF professional players. Fans accumulate points based on their play-calling skills and compete with other fans for YCF cash prizes.
Phenix will power the delivery of YCF games with its near-zero-latency live stream, as well as the sharpest video quality on the market. With the ability to view the games online and in-app, fans will be able to participate from anywhere they choose – from homes and offices to bars and restaurants. The YCF app will be available for download on iOS and Android devices this spring.

YCF will feature two teams – one coached by former Green Bay Packers coach and GM Mike Sherman and the other by former NFL running back and ESPN analyst Merril Hoge – competing against each other in three separate games.
