By combining Free Space Optics (FSO) and E-Band RF technology with intelligent traffic management, the Santa Clara, California-based company, founded in 2014, is pioneering next generation over-the-air solutions that deliver unprecedented speed, range, and cost efficiency, enabling and accelerating technology to take a leap forward.
Developed in partnership with global branding agency Saffron Consultants, Collinear’s new brand strategy is based around a very simple idea based on the company’s mission of enabling fluidity in communications as a catalyst for transformation: Collinear is a great equalizer building transformative technologies that enable the enablers of network communications to solve real world problems.
The resulting visual language employs the equal (‘=’) symbol derived from the ‘ll’ of the Collinear logotype as the brand’s core element to encapsulate the concept of co-existence between its hybrid technologies, Collinear and its collaborators, and Collinear’s solution and its end users.
Using bright, powerful colors, a reductive design language based on a simple geographic grid system, and illustrations, images, and a product nomenclature that evince the company’s pioneering and quirky personality, Collinear’s new brand effectively communicates the complexity of the company’s cutting-edge technology in a bold, simple, and cohesive manner, which is further encapsulated in the company’s new claim, Enlightened Communications.
