Alabama Online Domestic LLC Filing Expands Footprint to Jackson County

MONTGOMERY, Ala.--()--Alabama Interactive, in partnership with the Alabama Secretary of State, has recently expanded the existing online Domestic LLC Filing service to include Jackson County. Jackson County becomes the second locality to accept online filings, joining Baldwin County, which adopted the service earlier last year. The online Domestic LLC Filing service creates a one-stop online filing system, accepting both name reservations and filings all in one transaction.

“We are pleased to expand the convenient online feature to citizens in Jackson County,” said Secretary of State John H. Merrill. “We are looking forward to expanding to more Alabama counties, aiming to provide user-friendly and efficient e-government services to every Alabama citizen and business.”

The Domestic Pre-Filing application is still available to counties that have not yet adopted the online filing feature.
