NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Crédit Agricole CIB Global Markets Division announced today that Robert Valdes-Rodriguez is joining the bank as Head of Financial Institutions Foreign Exchange Sales for North America.
Mr. Valdes-Rodriguez brings more than 25 years’ experience in the foreign exchange markets, having started his career at Banque Indosuez. He subsequently was on the FX trading team at Banque Paribas, followed by ABN AMRO as Americas Head of Financial Institutions Sales and Global Head of FX Sales, and most recently at Scotiabank, where he headed the Americas Financial Institutions FX Sales team.
Foreign Exchange is one of the pillars of the Global Market Division's Medium Term Plan and is a key component of Crédit Agricole CIB Americas franchise's growth. Based in New York, Mr. Valdes-Rodriguez reports to Koceila Maames, Head of Financial Institutions Sales for the Americas.
