LIVONIA, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Valassis, a leader in intelligent media delivery and division of Harland Clarke Holdings, today announced that Wayne Powers has been appointed to the new role of President, Valassis. Powers brings 25-plus years of experience in the media industry, innovative ideas and a strong client focus to guide the company’s strategic growth initiatives.

Powers joined Valassis in 2015 as Chief Revenue and Operating Officer and most recently served as Valassis’ Chief Operating Officer. He has successfully led revenue growth while substantially improving the company’s cross-channel client experience. His leadership in successfully developing and bringing high-performing, integrated media campaigns to market has benefitted a wide range of clients from national to hyper-local. Prior to joining Valassis, Powers held multiple senior leadership positions at Gravity4, Parade Media Group, Yahoo! and Time Inc. where he delivered market-changing solutions. Throughout his career he has developed and implemented strategic process improvements that have strengthened the client experience.
The company also announced that Greg Green has assumed an expanded role of Chief Data and Analytics Officer, Harland Clarke Holdings. Fluent in applying data science to business applications and driving revenue, Green joined Valassis in 2016 as its first Data and Analytics Officer. Green possesses 25 years of industry experience spanning across disciplines including data management, consumer analytics, marketing technology, sales operations and product development.
