COLUMBIA, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capgemini today announced it has opened a new delivery center at The BullStreet District in Columbia, SC, known as the largest urban redevelopment project east of the Mississippi River. Capgemini will service its insurance clients interested in implementations of Duck Creek Technologies1 software but will also provide services on other insurance and cross-industry implementations. The new Columbia delivery center is Capgemini’s first location in the state of South Carolina with 125 employees already assigned to the center.
The new delivery center is designed to operate in the new world of DevOps and the distributed Agile model. With the objective of fostering collaboration through technology and workplace design, it is a future-forward model for digital delivery.

Capgemini acquired Columbia-based TCube Solutions in February 2017 due to its focus on Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance software and services to complement its alliance partnership with Duck Creek Technologies. TCube Solutions employees have been folded into Capgemini and as the delivery center’s work expands, it is expected that additional IT resources will be hired.

Capgemini’s office will be in the First Base Building, the largest private office building constructed in downtown Columbia since 2009, and adjacent to Spirit Communications Park stadium, home of Minor League Baseball’s Columbia Fireflies.
