Nov. 30 Workshop to Teach Participants How to Rapidly Implement the Framework

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--Secure Systems Innovation Corporation (SSIC), a cyber risk firm that empowers informed business decision making, is hosting a free NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) implementation workshop. At the event, participants will learn how to break down the complex framework and then seamlessly interconnect it with their larger risk management programs.

Following opening remarks by Larry Clinton, president of the Internet Security Alliance, SSIC will explain how its patented cyber risk model, X-Analytics™, offers a novel approach for organizations struggling to adopt the complex framework. Participants will learn how to use X-Analytics to deconstruct the framework and optimize their implementations.

BACKGROUND: A May 2017 executive order requires that federal agencies use the framework as part of a comprehensive risk management program. Implementing the framework, however, has proved challenging not only for federal agencies, but also for businesses voluntarily seeking to adopt it. This workshop is open to both public and private sector organizations.
