OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orion Advisor Services, LLC ("Orion"), the premier portfolio accounting service provider for financial advisors, today announced it has made trading for advisors faster and easier than ever by enabling them to execute trades from wherever the Orion Insight app is installed, including most notably Salesforce, Redtail and other CRM platforms.
This time-saving integration pulls the most widely used trading workflows into the Insight app, streamlining the work of executing trades, updating models, rebalancing portfolios, trading cash, and buying and selling securities in client accounts without advisors having to leave their CRM of choice.
“One of our top priorities is to focus on true integration that makes the lives of our advisor clients easier,” said Eric Clarke, CEO of Orion. “Orion is dedicated to helping advisors create a more efficient and effective practice. Allowing advisors to initiate their trading workflow directly from their CRM reduces the amount of time switching between platforms to perform tasks, which could result in potential trade errors.”
Continuing on the firm’s leadership in the integration of partner firms into its platform for the benefit of its advisor clients, Orion has also built Insight tile upgrades with Riskalyze. Advisors can now pull the Riskalyze Retirement RoadMap inside of the Insight app to help their clients better visualize their path to retirement and to facilitate deeper and more meaningful discussions about risk and return.
“When advisors rely on several technologies to build a cohesive client experience, true platform integration is the only way to ensure investors are met with a seamless and easy-to-understand interface,” Clarke said. “Our goal has always been to make the lives of advisors easier so that they can offer the best experience possible to their clients. Integrating these services is an important step in making that happen.”
Looking ahead, Orion is pleased to announce its Advisory Board members and Orion Sprint Teams will collaborate to build Orion’s 2018 integration roadmap. Both the Advisory Board and the Sprint Teams will present the company’s plans for future integrations at the Orion Advisory Board’s March meeting in Washington, D.C.
On top of these updates, Orion has also updated a plethora of its capabilities to help advisors save time and create efficiencies in their workflow. Some of these enhancements include updates to its client portal, the Orion RMD Dashboard app, the Composite app, the Rep Portal, and the recently announced Communities, where advisors interact and share model portfolios with the Orion Eclipse trading and rebalancing platform.
“Whether it’s a major time-saver or a small quality-of-life improvement, we never stop looking for ways to help our advisor clients concentrate on the work that matters most to them,” Clarke said.
