BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Namogoo today announced the appointment of Ohad Hagai to Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Hagai is responsible for marketing, communications, media relations and digital strategies that will position Namogoo for accelerated growth and expansion among global online brands.
Namogoo has identified an emerging problem known as Online Journey Hijacking. Unauthorized ads are injected into consumer browsers, diverting prospective shoppers away to competing websites and cutting directly into the retailer’s revenue. Online Journey Hijacking is expected to cost online retailers $2.1 billion over the 2017 holiday season. Some of the world’s largest ecommerce retailers are working with Namogoo to prevent Online Journey Hijacking, preserve the customer experience, retain lost revenue and optimize their online business performance.
“Ecommerce retailers are losing millions annually due to Online Journey Hijacking, yet many are unaware that this loss is even happening since it is only visible on the consumer’s browser,” said Hagai. “I’m excited to join Namogoo, and increase global awareness of the only platform capable of identifying – and more importantly – preventing this hijacking in its mission to help online businesses regain control of the customer experience and elevate their online performance.”
Hagai brings a wealth of retail and ecommerce knowledge as well as B2B marketing experience to the Namogoo team, most recently leading marketing efforts for Feedvisor, establishing the brand as the leading solution for marketplace merchants. Prior to Feedvisor, Hagai acted as Director of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing for Sears Holdings, leading the launch of two lifestyle brands in partnership with international pop stars Adam Levine and Nicki Minaj. Additionally, Hagai oversaw Sears.com and Kmart.com’s member acquisition and retention programs during his time with Sears Holdings.
“Ohad has an exemplary track record of conceiving, developing and implementing results-driven marketing campaigns for some of the world’s top retail brands,” said Chemi Katz, co-founder and CEO, Namogoo. “We are very excited to expedite our company growth and expansion through his many years of expertise.
