SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Andersen Tax LLC announces a new Student Loan Paydown Plan through a partnership with Gradifi.
Andersen Tax, which is certified as a Great Place to Work™, is joining the fewer than 5% of companies that are making efforts to reduce the massive student loan debt that is financially burdening its people.
“One of our goals at Andersen Tax is to support the diverse needs of our people at every stage of their lives, whether they are just beginning their careers, starting a family, or thinking about retirement. Assisting our people with paying down their student loan debt is just one way we are supporting the financial wellbeing of our people,” said Dan DePaoli, U.S. Country Managing Director for Andersen Tax LLC.
Today, there is over $1.3 trillion dollars of student loan debt in America. Andersen Tax aims to hire the best and brightest people, many of whom hold advanced education degrees. Often this level of education comes with a high level of student loan debt. The objective of the firm’s partnership with Gradifi is to help defray the significant financial burden that many young professionals face today.
Andersen Tax has already distinguished itself by offering fully firm-sponsored Masters of Laws in Taxation (LLM) and Legal Studies in Taxation (MLST) programs through the University of San Francisco (USF). Now, beginning January 2018, the firm is offering any regular, full-time employee a benefit of $100 a month for 60 months with a $6,000 lump-sum trailer at the end of the five-year period, or a total of $12,000, toward their student loan debt.
“We believe this student loan repayment assistance program is the richest benefit of its kind among our industry competitors and that it, in addition to our USF program offerings, clearly demonstrates our willingness to put our money where our mouth is in support of higher learning for our people,” said Nancy Power, Managing Director of Human Resources.
