DFW AIRPORT, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frisco-based Code 3 Emergency Room & Urgent Care is coming to DFW Airport, Southgate Plaza Development. Construction has begun on an 8,160-square-foot Freestanding Emergency Center and Urgent Care facility on 1.4 acres of land. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2390 Innovation Drive, near DFW Airport Headquarters. The facility will house a 24/7/365 full-service emergency room including observation rooms for short term observation admissions as well as a separate urgent care.
The state-of-the-art facility will be fully equipped with CT scanner, ultrasound, x-ray, laboratory, pharmacy and staffed with board certified emergency trained physicians. The concept will be the first ever of its kind on an airport property in the United States.
Code 3 Emergency Room & Urgent Care is owned and operated by Code 3 Emergency Partners, LLC. Code 3 owns and operates multiple active Emergency Rooms & Urgent Cares located in Carrollton, Mesquite, McKinney and Rockport, TX as well as McCarran International Airport, Terminal 1 in Las Vegas, NV.
In addition, the Company recently opened Code 3 Urgent Care & Pharmacy inside Terminal D at DFW International Airport. The Urgent Care provides high quality, convenient care for acute illnesses such as colds, flu, respiratory infections, lacerations, sprains and strains, work-related injuries and more. They can be found inside Terminal D, near gate 27 in the upper level. Hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. daily. Most insurance is accepted and affordable cash pay options are available.
