NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dana Bunting as the Managing Director of Issuer Business Development. She will work closely with Kate Kennedy, Head of Investor Business Development, Marketing, Media and Publishing, and Kevin Blaney, Head of Capital Markets Business Development.
Dana joined KBRA in April 2017 as a Managing Director and the Head of Public Finance Investor Relations. Since then Dana has cultivated KBRA's relationships with many top fixed income investors. In her new role she will oversee the issuer relations and sales efforts internationally across all aspects of the firm including Structured Finance, Public Finance, Financial Institutions and Corporates. Bunting and her team will partner with the Investor Relations counterparts to provide unparalleled service and expertise to the market.
Bunting joined KBRA from Goldman Sachs, after 21 years in the public-sector and infrastructure group within that firm’s investment-banking division. There she served as the lead banker for numerous state and city governments, overseeing infrastructure, transportation, housing, and higher-education clients throughout the United States. Dana began her career at Standard and Poor’s, where she spent nine years as a credit analyst in the ratings group, responsible for structured finance and mortgage-revenue bonds. She later developed criteria and chaired rating committees. Bunting holds a BS in Business Administration from Gettysburg College.
“Dana has been a fantastic addition to KBRA's team and has helped expand the company in a short amount of time. We look forward to Dana’s contribution as we deepen and broaden our issuer and investor outreach,” said Jim Nadler, President and CEO.
