MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Overdose is not the only risk related to prescription opioids, as misuse and severe opioid use disorders -- including opioid addiction – pose potential dangers. Concordia’s Pathways 2 Recovery model leverages predictive data analytics and best practices to identify at-risk patients and advance individual recovery.
By combining clinical and behavioral health components, including biopsychosocial evaluation, coordination of care, and evidence-based treatment approaches, Concordia delivers integrated, quality care that focuses on best individual outcomes.

WHAT: With today’s announcement, more funds are likely to become available to assist nationwide efforts in providing greater access to opioid intervention and treatment services, including telemedicine capabilities. Additionally, federal grants may be targeted to communities in greatest need, adding medication assisted therapy (MAT) sites and increasing Buprenorphine providers across the U.S. – two actions that may have a dramatic, positive impact on the crisis.
White House officials have said that they are working with Congress to find additional funding for the opioid crisis – which experts at the CDC and NIH say will cost tens of billions of dollars to properly address – but no exact figures are yet available.
