OCEANSIDE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--INITIATE PR AND VIDEO, a boutique strategic communications agency servicing biotechnology companies and patient advocacy organizations, announced it has moved headquarters from Los Angeles to North San Diego County. A spin-off of GendelLindheim BioCom Partners in New York, IPR was founded by Stephen Gendel, an award-winning television medical correspondent for more than 30 years, and now a seasoned public relations executive with more than 15 years of PR experience.
“Our business model enables us to provide senior-level work at very affordable price levels,” said Stephen. “By working with a team of freelance specialists, we limit our overhead while all of our associates are senior experts in their own right. This enables us to develop and execute effective, creative strategies for leading biotechnology companies while our services are also accessible by emerging companies and patient advocacy groups, including long-standing expertise in healthcare cost-value-and-access issues.”
IPR President and General Manager Adolpho Ayala handles business affairs and assures transparency in our financial relationship with our clients. Adolpho also manages our long-running social media campaign eRace Cancer on Facebook and Twitter that follows the achievements of a 14-year cancer survivor who completed 100 marathons while on treatment when he was 75-years old.
Other core team members include Peggy Frank, a veteran of managing public relations for a major Los Angeles medical center; Deanne Eagle, our media specialist in New York with extensive contacts among online, print and broadcast journalists; Ashley Swango, who specializes in online research; and Mark Weinberg, a speechwriter and PR consultant in New Jersey who has just authored a book about his years inside the Reagan White House.
And the newest member of our team is Jeff Komarow our expert in visual communications from shooting and editing videos to designing corporate websites. Jeff’s knowledge and experience are rooted in digital communications. Combining his creative eye with Stephen’s award-winning broadcasting career in Washington, Los Angeles and New York, enables IPR to produce network-quality videos for our full range of clients for use internally, online and by mainstream media.
Stephen added, “The key to our success is being creative and strategic. That makes us effective and cost-effective.”
