CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bell Leadership Institute, a recognized leader in leadership training and executive development, celebrates its 45th anniversary. This milestone is being marked through many areas of development. The company just announced an expansion of its hallmark Achievers program to regional locations outside of Chapel Hill, a growing team, new partnerships and additional services. Now, Bell Leadership is expanding its physical location and has begun construction on an addition to its headquarters in Chapel Hill, providing the physical room needed for the company’s exponential growth.
Leading this is Bell Leadership’s Founder, CEO, global leader, teacher, mentor, researcher and connector, Dr. Gerald D. Bell. For nearly half a century, Dr. Bell has been devoted to his clients and team, mentoring both through opportunities, challenges and successes. Beginning his career in North Carolina as a Professor at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, Dr. Bell was honored this year with the establishment of the Gerald D. Bell Distinguished Professorship in the Kenan-Flagler Business School. The professorship is used to attract, retain and reward an extraordinary faculty member with research or teaching interests in the areas of leadership development or organizational behavior.
Dr. Bell’s name was also honored this year in a new leadership series hosted by the University. The Inaugural Bell Student Leadership Symposium was held on campus on September 16th. Students had the opportunity to hear Dr. Bell speak during a lunchtime discussion group, while Bell Leadership trainers Dr. Dana Lebo, Dr. Elizabeth Gulledge and Bill Sanford facilitated small groups to introduce the Bell Leadership Achiever Model. Dr. Bell also gave the closing remarks. He reflected on the experience by stating, “Whenever I step onto a university campus, I think about how lucky we are to have these bright, dedicated, eager-to-learn, young achievers. The world is in very good hands with the leaders these budding UNC students will become.”
Dr. Bell has built an impressive team of trainers, executive coaches, and keynote speakers to deliver his life-changing principles to leaders across the globe. Dr. Dana Lebo joined the team in 2006 with a focus on Coaching. Since 2008, Bill Sanford has delivered On-site Programs, Executive Retreats, and Keynote Speeches. Dr. Elizabeth Gulledge became a part of the team in 2014 and Jon Player in 2016 to expand the bench of leadership trainers, executive coaches, and keynote speakers.
