TACOMA, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jill Quinn, president of TrueBlue (NYSE: TBI) transportation staffing provider Centerline, has been named to the prestigious Staffing Industry Analyst’s 2017 Global Power 100 — Women in Staffing list. SIA’s annual list recognizes the world’s most influential women in the staffing industry.
Quinn, an active member of Women in Trucking, was cited as a “pioneer and strong female leader in the male-dominated transportation staffing industry” for more than 20 years. While Jill has been president, SIA noted, “Centerline has overcome severe talent shortages, growing into a nationwide operation employing more than 50,000 drivers and tripling revenue in less than 10 years.”
“Jill provides us with an incredible level of experience and expertise that has been crucial to Centerline’s success,” Patrick Beharelle, TrueBlue president and COO said. “We’re very proud that she has been recognized not just for her significant contributions to the transportation industry, but also as one of the most influential women in the staffing industry worldwide.”
In addition to the Global Power 100, SIA also named Quinn to the North America 50, which recognizes the continent’s most influential women in staffing.
“I’m very proud to be associated with the impressive and influential women who are on the SIA Global Power 100 list,” Quinn said. “It’s a wonderful honor, and I hope what I’ve done opens the door for more women to have leadership careers in transportation and staffing.”
