New Bartop VGM Form Factor Debuts at G2E
As part of the Company’s expanding vision for the casino of the future, GameCo will debut its new Bartop VGM, the first gaming device that brings skill-based video games into the casino in a bar-ready form factor. The Bartop VGM bridges the gap between the casual games players have come to enjoy with a gambling experience in a relaxed and social atmosphere. The Bartop VGM, which builds on the decades of success of video poker and video blackjack traditionally featured in a similar form factor, offers multigame options in one product with featured games including matching games, sports, puzzle, and hidden object games. In addition to the Company’s Nothin’ but Net sports game, new Gen 2 games for the Bartop VGM debuting at G2E 2017 include:
- Poseidon’s Deep Sea Saga – an easy to play bubble shooter game where players quickly match and pop bubbles to capture treasures.
- Cosmic Candy Heist – a matching game where players must match puzzle tiles to gain rewards and win big.
- Twisted Worlds – a hidden object game which encourages playing with friends as players encounter surreal scenes and search for hidden items within thousands of locations.
New Game Based on Music Innovator and Icon, Steve Aoki, Debuts in Two Form Factors
Also debuting at G2E, for both the arcade-style and Bartop VGM and sure to be a highlight of G2E, is Steve Aoki’s Neon Dream, an infinite runner game inspired by the legendary Grammy Award-nominated DJ/Producer’s 2014 “Neon Future” album and its underlying soundscapes and the first ever skill-based game to combine celebrity, gaming and music to reach a new audience and bring incremental revenue to the floor. The first-person game blends the nearly effortless controls of an infinite runner with the sensorial and transcendental experience of Aoki’s music. Players fly over an endless track through a mesmerizing world of color and shape, collecting gold records and “Aoki” tiles, avoiding barriers, while listening to various music titles from Aoki’s Dim Mak label.
