Confie Signs on as the Newest National Sponsor of Toys for Tots

Partnership with the annual holiday campaign is the latest investment Confie has made into giving back to its communities

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--()--Confie, one of the top 20 insurance brokers in the world, announced that it has become a national sponsor of Toys for Tots, an initiative of the U.S. Marine Corps through which new, unwrapped toys are collected and distributed to less fortunate children during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots’ mission is to help youngsters experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope that encourages them to become responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens. Toys for Tots has delivered more than 530 million toys to over 244 million children in all 50 states since its founding in 1947.

“We are very pleased to welcome Confie as a National Corporate Sponsor of the 2017 Marine Toys for Tots Campaign,” said retired Marine Colonel Ted Silvester, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “Their community service goals certainly align with those the Marine Corps has promoted for nearly 70 years through our Toys for Tots Program.” Silvester concluded, “With their generous support we will be able to fulfill the Christmas holiday dreams of thousands of less fortunate children who otherwise might be forgotten.”

Toys for Tots is a top-ranked charity, consistently earning the highest rating by Charity Navigator and maintaining a spot on the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s “Philanthropy 400” list.

The move marks the latest development by Confie to give back to the local communities it serves. Actively engaged on the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) board, Confie has joined with other insurance industry professionals to fund 47 different organizations in 2017 including At the Crossroads, Family Bridges Foundation, Laura’s House, OC Child Abuse Prevention Center and Tierra del Sol. We are proud to have nominated Para Los Niños, an organization that serves at-risk children in marginalized communities throughout Los Angeles County to receive an IICF grant.
