DXC focuses corporate responsibility (CR) and sustainability efforts in five key areas to make a clear difference with its CR and sustainability work worldwide: Responsible Business, Environment, Employees, Community and Clients. DXC reported progress in all five categories in FY 2017.

- DXC ranked #14 in the Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens for 2017 by CR Magazine;

- Absolute energy usage reduction of 30.9 percent and global greenhouse gas emissions by 18.7 percent (baseline year FY 2012) — a year ahead of target;

- Reduction in U.S.-based staff air travel by 23.9 percent in terms of distance flown, against FY 2016; and
- Delivered more than 3 million training hours to employees in 2017 (1.8 million for legacy HPE Enterprise Services and 1.3 million for legacy CSC).
