TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Communications operations teams will discontinue field operations in the Tampa Bay area for Sunday and Monday (September 10 and 11).
Some essential functions outside of the Tampa Bay area will continue to be available for customers – reporting service troubles to Frontier for example. That number to call is 1-800-921-8101. It is also available in Español at 1-800-921-8103. However, no work will be dispatched on Sunday or Monday. A decision about work schedules following Monday will be decided sometime on Monday.
A dedicated web site has been established for customers to access – www.frontier.com/Irma. Customers can report issues as well as access the latest news from Frontier and other storm-related information.
Frontier reminds area residents that restoration efforts after Irma has passed will begin once respective emergency management organizations in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee and Sarasota Counties give the “all clear” that it is safe to resume working. At that time, Frontier will follow standard priorities for service restorations – public safety and health; business customers; and residential customers.
