NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This evening, fans from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, politics and culture came together to celebrate two of the world’s great passions—Snoopy and haute couture!—at the opening-night party for the Snoopy & Belle in Fashion exhibition at Brookfield Place New York. The exhibition features 12-inch, on-trend vinyl Snoopy and Belle dolls bedecked in mini-couture designs by more than 65 of the world’s foremost style visionaries. New York marks the homecoming of an international tour that has visited seven cities in the U.S. and eight cities in Europe, Asia, and Mexico since the exhibition’s launch during New York Fashion Week in 2014.
“This international tour has been a thrilling opportunity to collaborate with the greatest designers in the world, who share our enthusiasm for the most beloved style icons ever, Snoopy and his sister Belle!” said Jeannie Schulz. “Throughout the tour, we have partnered with brilliant designers who represent the unique style of each city. In New York, we were privileged to join forces with Oscar de La Renta, Monse, and costume designer Paul Tazewell, who created miniature versions of the Alexander and Eliza Hamilton outfits that helped win him a Tony.”
The fashion spectacular also features one-of-a-kind designs from: Anna Sui, Ashley Biden x Livelihood, Babesta, Barbara Tfank, Betsey Johnson, Bibhu Mohapatra, Calvin Klein Collection, Children of our Town, Christian Siriano, Colleen Atwood, Costello Tagliapietra, Cristiano Burani, Diane Von Furstenberg, DKNY by Donna Karan, Dries Van Noten, DSquared2, Edwin Oudshoorn, Emanuel Ungaro, Hanna Anderson, Isaac Mizrahi, Isabel Marant, J.
