Patrick Knight brings more than 20 years of experience in cyber security to his new role as the senior director of cyber strategy and technology, and Mike Perrault brings 18 years of experience in sales to his position as Veriato's director of sales engineering.
With experience in both intelligence and the private commercial sectors, Knight will help guide the company's efforts in the burgeoning security field, expand and nurture partner relationships, and assist in meeting the needs of Veriato customers worldwide. Most recently the security research architect for Cylance Inc., and with Intel Security for seven years prior, Knight specializes in anti-malware and threat research, software architecture and development, encryption and privacy. Before joining the commercial sector, Knight served in the U.S. Army and in the Department of Defense, dealing with military intelligence and other areas related to national security.
Over the last 18 years, Perrault has worked in a multitude of positions for companies such as Scriptlogic, Quest, BMC, RSA and Varonis. His main concentration over the past few years has been security, including user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) and data governance. He has an MBA in operations management and a master's in computer science engineering.
