BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications solution provider for the modern global enterprise, today announced that it marked the first half of 2017 with substantial growth, including a 51 percent increase in subscription revenue Year-Over-Year (YOY). Fuze continues to demonstrate its unique ability to scale for and serve the large enterprise segment. The company’s strong, continued momentum signals the market demand for a truly unified enterprise communications platform that delivers insights and empowers productivity.
Fuze marked the first half of the year with $134 million in funding led by Wellington Management Company LLP and one of the top U.S. public pension funds. The investment brings Fuze’s total funding to $334 million and further validates the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) market opportunity as more enterprises move their communications stack to the cloud. Fuze is using its latest round of funding to accelerate product innovation for the enterprise customer segment and to continue international expansion in Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Today, 90 percent of the company’s customers have a global footprint, indicating that Fuze is making good on its mission to dominate the global UCaaS market. Its growing global customer base includes: NHST, iPayment, Boon Edam, Ascendis Pharma, FIME, and The Rockport Group.

The first half of the year also brought the appointment of three executives to drive the next phase of Fuze’s growth: Chief Executive Officer Colin Doherty, Chief Information Officer Chris Conry, and Chief Sales Officer Chris Doggett. All three executives come to Fuze with extensive experience and round out a leadership bench to capitalize on the robust enterprise market opportunity for cloud communications.

In May, the company announced new product integrations with InContact Customer Interaction Cloud, combining Fuze’s global network and InContact’s best-of-breed contact center technology to offer an optimized experience for global contact centers. Fuze further established itself as a leading visionary on technology’s role in driving the future of work by launching an extensive research study in March entitled Breaking Barriers 2020: How CIOs are Shaping the Future of Work.
