NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spin classes, potato-sack races, and brain games were the order of the day at today’s Rally® HealthFest hosted by actor and comedian Kevin Hart and digital health company Rally Health℠. More than 12,000 New Yorkers came out to celebrate healthy living at the free festival in Nelson A. Rockefeller Park in lower Manhattan’s Battery Park City.
People of all ages were joined by Hart as they participated in fun, family-friendly activities ranging from group exercise classes led by Kevin’s personal trainer, Ron “Boss” Everline, to races on Hippity Hop balls in the Kids Zone. On hand to help host the event and offer people encouragement to move more and eat healthier was New York’s own Robin Arzon, author of Shut Up and Run: How to Get Up, Lace Up, and Sweat. Rally’s partner leading the fitness activities was NYC nonprofit Asphalt Green.
“I loved engaging with the people at today’s Rally HealthFest and showing them that they don’t have to go to extreme measures to improve their health and fitness. Everything we did today was fun and easy to do, and just about everything we did had a health or fitness benefit. The event today was Rally Health’s second HealthFest in New York City and fifth event overall across the United States.
