(NYSE: TGNA) and KXTV, TEGNA’s NBC affiliate in Sacramento, CA, today announced a partnership with Cheddar on “Cheddar Local.” Cheddar is a leading post-cable network focused on the millennial audience. KXTV will be the first local network affiliate to incorporate Cheddar Local segments into their news broadcasts. The twice daily segments will feature the day’s top business headlines before the market opens and after it closes.
Cheddar Local segments will focus on premium business and technology coverage originating from the New York Stock Exchange. Segments running on KXTV will be one-to-two minutes in length, with one running during ABC10 Morning Blend and another during ABC10 News at 5.
