MIDDLETOWN, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Embrace Home Loans, a prominent leader in the mortgage industry, announced today that it will present MusiCorps with a check for $10,000 at the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS®’ REALTOR® Fest on Monday, July 24 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
During the event, Embrace Home Loans will give back to MusiCorps, a conservatory-level music rehabilitation program that helps wounded warriors play music and recover their lives. MusiCorps has been praised by The Wall Street Journal as “revolutionary” and has helped countless veterans learn or relearn how to play an instrument as a core part of their rehabilitation. The program is currently receiving many more veteran requests to participate than they can accommodate, and Embrace’s donation will fund the development and availability of the program.
“We are excited to make this donation,” said Jennifer O’Neil, communications director at Embrace Home Loans. “At Embrace, we’re committed to our employees as well as our community, and we are proud to support MusiCorps in their efforts to educate wounded warriors in music theory as a part of their rehabilitation. Their mission – helping injured veterans reach this high level of musical achievement – is amazing! It’s an extraordinary way to provide support to our military, and it is precisely aligned with our culture and values here at Embrace.”
Embrace strives to support veterans and members of the military as much as possible. The national lender offers VA loans specifically for Veterans that are backed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The company and its employees also have recently raised money for other charities supporting veterans with an event featuring a B-25 World War II bomber plane. Embrace has raised thousands of dollars through its simple tradition of giving, and Providence Business News has recognized Embrace as the Most Community Involved Company in Rhode Island.
