SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Available for pre-order today, the world's first 3D-printed optical kit with a camera app to let you easily capture and share 360 photos and videos with your iPhone, NoMatterWhat is here to bring you carefree experience in 360 photography.
NoMatterWhat is an electronic-free optical kit for iPhone. It’s as light as a keyholder, weighing only 30-gram. While barely aware of its weight, it empowers your iPhone to capture the world without boundary.
No battery-charging. No wifi/blue-tooth connection. Just pick up your phone and plug it in. The wide-angle lenses will align with the front and rear camera of your iPhone, opening over 180-degree field of view for each camera. Now your iPhone instantly becomes a 360 camera.
Shooting with NoMatterWhat app, it enables you to capture images from both cameras. The app will stitch all the images in real-time for smooth 360 experience, providing 6K resolution for still 360 photos and 4K resolution for 360 videos.
“We disagree to the monopoly in 360 photography. Current 360 photography is only in the hands of early adopters. For most consumers, there’s just not much accessibility in creating 360 moments. To own a 360 camera, you need technical skill. You need expensive investment in device. You need to remember charging your device before you go. It’s just not working,” said Tim Lo, CEO of NoMatterWhat. “Why do we have to buy extra devices when we already have two cameras in our pocket? We’re bypassing unnecessary devices. We use your own cameras to shoot 360. It’s a journey to get everyone involved.”
The first edition is the world’s first 3D-printed 360 camera. It is made with quality lenses and 3D-printed shell. This limited edition will be delivered in August to 200 selected adventurers who are photography-enthusiasts and are willing to explore 360 photography. Besides capturing photos and videos, the team is rolling out 360 live broadcasting in September.
Pre-order opens until Aug 18, 2017 available in US territory with price of $35.99 USD for iPhone 7 and $39.99 USD for iPhone 7 Plus, making them the most affordable way to capture 360 on the market.
