WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Babel Street, an advanced multi-lingual search and analytics software company, today announced that it was honored as winner of the Fifth Annual Golden Eagle Award at the 2017 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida.
Babel Street won for its project titled: “Super Intelligence: Protecting the World's Biggest Game.” Through its cutting edge software, the company collected and analyzed billions of data points to assist its partners in maintaining situational awareness and security of the Super Bowl XLIX facilities.
“We are honored to receive the Golden Eagle Award and to be recognized as an innovative leader in the safety and security industry,” said Jeff Chapman, CEO, Babel Street. “In this particular project, our team identified and alerted - in realtime - possible threats to the Superbowl XLIX venues. Even though each was vetted successfully and cleared, senior security principals from the sports industry recognized the criticality of our work and acknowledged those efforts through this award.”
Bestowed annually by The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), and sponsored by SDM, the Golden Eagle Award recognizes excellence in architecture, engineering and construction (A/E/C) specifically related to the safety and security of spectators, property and infrastructure of spectator event facilities. The award considers the critical design and functionality that enable and promote the safety and security of all stakeholders in an efficient and effective manner.
