SAN DIEGO--()--UnitedHealthcare brought new pedal-powered smoothie bikes to the annual Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center Day of Play today to encourage San Diego County kids and their families to adopt healthier lifestyles. The specially made smoothie bikes are designed to help kids and their families connect an active lifestyle with healthy eating.

The annual Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center Day of Play is a free community festival with hands-on activities related to gardening, physical activity, healthy foods and nutrition for more than 400 San Diego County adults and children. The goal of the Day of Play is to educate families about the connection between food and health.
