WHAT: Para Los Niños Charter Middle School and Ford Motor Co. will be hosting the 5th Annual Model Car Building Competition. The event celebrates Ford’s commitment to education at the campus and weaves STEM education into the final week of summer school. Students will have help in designing their model Mustang—the school’s mascot—thanks to a team of 20 corporate employees from Ford’s Los Angeles regional office. The design challenge culminates in a reveal and race at 11:30 AM.

Para Los Niños serves over 5,000 impoverished children and family members annually through its 6 preschools, 3 charter schools and array of mental health and social services.
