NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To celebrate National Selfie Day, Perfect Corp. has launched exclusive beauty looks, photo frames and fun filters for 450 million users around the world to snap their own creative selfie. In honor of the millennial-inspired “holiday,” YouCam has released the Selfie Nation Gallery featuring user-generated pictures taken with their apps. Over 30 million selfies are taken daily and over 800 million minutes spent every month taking photos with YouCam Apps. That’s almost twice as many more minutes than last year.
Perfect Corp. and CyberLink have conducted a joint YouGov survey revealing some interesting selfie trends of the moment. The survey shows 62% of Americans and two-thirds of millennials take between 3 and 25 selfies before sharing one to social media. Nearly one in five American selfie takers say they’ve snapped a selfie together with a celebrity.
