CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma (MM4MM), an initiative by CURE Media Group, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and Takeda was honored with the prestigious Bell Ringer award at the 49th Annual Bell Ringer Award ceremony, held on June 1, 2017. The award recognizes the efforts put forward by all three organizations to inspire, empower and engage the multiple myeloma community.
The award presented under the Cause Marketing Campaign category credits the MM4MM project that takes patients, caregivers, doctors, nurses and loved ones on challenging mountain climbs. Each climb signifies the developments and improvements made in the treatment and research of multiple myeloma. Recent hikes have taken teams to adventurous journeys through Machu Picchu, Grand Canyon, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mt. Fuji coming up in July, collectively raising over $1 million.
The Publicity Club of New England’s Bell Ringer Awards honor the exceptional achievements by the communications and public relations teams from various industries. The awards recognize experts whose creative and unique strategies achieve significant results for the companies, clients and institutions.
