The panel will be moderated by Donna Orender, a former All American and professional basketball player prior to becoming a senior executive for the PGA Tour and then WNBA President. The most recent additions to the Winning: Passion and Perseverance keynote on June 24 at #BlogHer17 in Orlando are volleyball legend and Olympic gold medalist Gabrielle Reece and gymnast and Olympic Gold medalist Laurie Hernandez.
The all-star panel, which also includes Dani Rylan, Founder and Commissioner of the National Women’s Hockey League, and Jessi Miley-Dyer, World Surf League Women’s Commissioner, will focus on the important role female athletes play as an inspiration to women and girls, and how playing sports can influence self-esteem and future success. It will also explore how these women athletes use their considerable social media reach and influence for good.
Orender will kick off the panel with an opening Spotlight Talk on the inner athlete in us all.
