ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bob Chambers was given an award for Extraordinary Contribution by the Georgia Highway Contractors Association at its annual convention in recognition of his service and dedication to the GHCA. Bob has been a member of the GHCA for 30 years and currently serves as its General Counsel as he has for many years.
The award recognizes work of associate members that go above and beyond for the association. The award is not given frequently, and only as a need to recognize the hard work of an associate member arises. Bob is the first attorney to receive the award. The only other award given by the Association is a Lifetime Achievement award, but that goes only to contractor members.
David Moellering, President of the Association said:
“Bob stood out for his longstanding membership and commitment to the association. The membership wanted to recognize Bob not only for his outstanding contribution to the association, but for his contribution to the overall industry and for all the work he has done. He has been a member for 30 years. Bob is always there when needed and has been extremely helpful to a lot of people.”
