“We’re delighted to be recognized by Forbes for our collaborative and supportive workplace environment and outstanding place to build a career,” said Christian Dahl, senior vice president, Talent Management and Global Human Resources, BCD Travel. “Our commitment to advancing our strong culture helps our employees provide the highest level of customer service.”
The “Best Employers” rankings are compiled by Forbes in partnership with Statista, which surveyed 30,000 U.S. employees on whether their employers make them feel happy, inspired and well-compensated. The most weighted question asked survey respondents to rate on a 10-point scale how strongly they would recommend their own company to others.
From the results, Forbes compiles a list of Top 500 large employers and Top 300 mid-sized employers. BCD Travel, with about 13,000 employees around the world, was ranked 140 on the Top Mid-sized Companies list, up from 231 out of 500 on Forbes’ America's Best Employers 2016 list and 462 on Forbes’ America’s Best Employers 2015 list.
