IRI’s Donna Wydra to Join Network of Executive Women for Discussion on the Evolving Shopping Journey

IRI’s Donna Wydra will join the Network of Executive Women to present “The Changing Shopper Journey: Winning in Today’s Omnichannel World.” The session will highlight the ever-evolving shopper journey and what consumer packaged goods companies can do to better target specific consumer segments. The presentation will examine the rise of millennials and how they differ from prior generations as they lead the dynamic change in the shopper journey. Wydra will also look at e-commerce and its effect on the future of CPG.



The impact that digital, social and mobile media have had on consumers is clear: these technologies have put shoppers in control while providing marketers and retailers with substantial opportunities to connect with key consumer targets along the entire shopper journey.
Wydra will discuss the changing face of the U.S. shopper and the CPG shopper journey by specific generations and cohorts. She will also share unique perspective on the most digitally forward slice of U.S. consumers, the DigitizeMe! segment from IRI’s DigitaLink™ segmentation, as their actions are indicative of future shopper behavior due to their propensity to use digital tools for shopping.
