SPRINGDALE, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tango Press, a digital printing and converting company for corrugated packaging and displays focused on fast design and production of mid to large-sized production volumes, today announced the successful launch of its $2 million, 15,000 ft2 digital production facility in Springdale, Arkansas. By employing the latest, state-of-the-art digital printing assets within a streamlined production environment, Tango Press delivers production run volumes of litho-quality printing for displays and packaging in days instead of weeks.
Co-founders John Ballentine and Steve Toth launched the company in order for brand owners and traditional converters to deliver production volumes of packaging and displays to the marketplace quickly by eliminating six to eight weeks of waiting for tooling and production schedules. Tango Press’ marketplace differentiator is their high-volume, digital production assets and streamlined business processes. Moving from approved art to completed production volumes is fast without the hassle of tooling, color separations, and long lead time schedules. Each order is produced on paper-based substrates from .8mm to 25mm in caliber, in full color with litho-quality high end graphics.
“After spending my career fighting for brand owners’ needs for flexible production run sizes, waiting for openings in analog production schedules, and investing sunk costs in tooling, the digital production process is a dream come true,” said John Ballentine, co-founder of Tango Press. “What used to take six to eight weeks now can be completed in one day.”
To address the growing needs of the marketplace, Ballentine saw the opportunity to combine the latest digital production assets with corrugated packaging and display projects. With more than 20 successful years in the industry, Ballentine partnered with tech veteran and entrepreneur Toth to establish Tango Press.
