ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Social News Desk, Inc. today announced the public launch of its free Social Rankings app for broadcasters. Powered by the company’s extensive database of news organizations on Facebook, the Social Ranking’s app is a daily social scoreboard for newsrooms.
The Social Rankings app allows the user to track social performance in all the markets they care about. Broadcasters will be able to see a list of TV stations in each market ranked by a percentage share of social engagement specific to that region. In addition, the app also shows the total engagement, posting volume and per-post engagement average for each station in every market.
Relying on the Social News Desk database, which indexes more than 10,000 pieces of social content per second, the Social Rankings app also showcases the top content in each market ranked by engagement as well as the top content nationally among all local news organizations.
Today’s release is the first version of the Social Rankings app. New features are expected later this year. It is now available at getsocialrankings.com and in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
This app is the latest social solutions product to follow the 2016 released SND Campaigns, which provides an integrated solution for sponsored/branded social campaigns by allowing streamlined publishing of sponsored social posts along with automated reporting on the success metrics.
