PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Libre Wireless Technologies, Inc., a leading embedded WiFi and wireless solution provider, today at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair announced the launch of their new LS5BV LibreSync module featuring fully integrated and optimized far field smart voice assistant capability as well as extensive music streaming and multiroom audio features. The LS5BV is the world’s smallest size and lowest power integrated WiFi streaming and voice assistant solution, enabling OEM’s and ODM’s to integrate these new complex voice interface, media and connectivity features into new mainstream products where size, power and cost are paramount.
The new LS5BV module has fully integrated hardware voice processing DSP support with sophisticated algorithms for detecting and processing far field voice, including advanced noise reduction, echo cancellation, music barge-in and audio processing features. It is designed to support from 1 to 3 mics, giving designing customers flexibility for various applications that can be optimized for cost, front facing 180 or circular 360 degree applications. The LS5BV offers a clean interface to off-module mics allowing the product designer ultimate flexibility on mic placement and product integration while providing a simple low cost interface. The complete LS5BV module platform solution includes support for the LibreSync connectivity SDK features. The LibreSync SDK with it’s Mic-to-Cloud solution and media streaming capability enables OEM’s and ODM’s to more easily integrate these complex new voice interface and voice assistant technologies into their products as well as many advanced audio and music streaming features and growing list of Smart Home applications.
LS5BV can operate in Master mode or Self-hosted mode by providing complete UI/UX and audio system control functionality or in Slave mode where it can interface to an external MCU and expose a rich set of control API’s. Holding true to the Libre strategy, the LS5BV adds another great offering to the Libre family of solutions that deliver price/performance options and integrate voice support across multiple ecosystems such that OEM’s and ODM’s can leverage one platform and supplier in Libre to service their broad product line needs.
