Franchise Industry Veteran Al Scobell Joins Caring Transitions Executive Team

CINCINNATI--()--Caring Transitions, a Cincinnati-based senior relocation, estate sale, and liquidation company, recently announced Al Scobell as its new Vice President of Operations. Scobell’s hiring comes on the heels of the company’s monumental 10 year anniversary and recent national convention in San Antonio.

No stranger to the industry, Scobell has been in the franchising world for the past 17 years where he spent the majority of his career at restaurant brands – most notably as the Vice President of Operations for Yum! Brands, the largest holding company in the restaurant industry. Scobell’s other positions within the restaurant industry include Regional Franchise Director for Church’s Chicken where he oversaw operations of 120 restaurants across the country and Director of Operations for Pizza Hut, a position he held for three years. After nearly two decades of restaurant experience, Scobell decided to make a career switch and transition to a business that was committed to improving the lives of its customers.

“Coming from the restaurant industry to the Caring Transitions team, I’m excited to be making the switch from want-based brands to a need-based brand,” said Scobell. “Being given the opportunity to help make a difference not only at the corporate level for our franchisees but also in the lives of our customers is something I am greatly looking forward to.”

As the Vice President of Operations, Scobell will bring strategic leadership to the brand as well as assist in building the training program and teaching franchisees best hiring practices. By strengthening his relationship with the company’s over 200 franchisees, Scobell aims to boost revenue at the franchisee level and prompt overall growth for the brand.

“The rising Baby Boomer population in America has prompted the expansion of Caring Transitions nationwide, and we’re excited to have Al joining our team at this pivotal time,” said Chris Seman, President of Caring Transitions. “Al’s decades of experience in the restaurant industry, along with unparalleled drive and determination will prime the brand for growth and will aide in streamlining efficient operations.”

Already this year, Caring Transitions was named on Entrepreneur’s annual Franchise 500 list and was named No. 46 on the 2017 Franchise Gator Fastest Growing Franchises list.
