IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Opus Bank (NASDAQ: OPB) announced today that it has received a stock permit from the California Commissioner of the Department of Business Oversight for the previously announced sale of $53 million of its common stock in a private placement. The private placement is expected to close on February 15, 2017, subject to the completion of customary closing conditions.
