SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aporeto, the company that brings together developers, DevOps and information security teams for a more secure cloud, announced today that Dimitri Stilliadis, the company’s co-founder and CEO, will be participating in the Container Security Panel at the RSA Conference 2017 in San Francisco on February 14, at 11 a.m. at the Google Launchpad. Later this month, Stilliadis will give a presentation on “Deploying Security in the Kubernetes Framework” at the eBay Cloud Meetup on February 23 at 6 p.m. local time.
The company is also announcing its participation in Container World, taking place in Santa Clara, California, February 21-23, 2017. Container World is a true ecosystem event, addressing the strategic implications of containers and the associated trends as they disrupt the cloud market.
Aporeto launched in the fall of 2016 an open-source security project for Kubernetes and Docker called Trireme, which brings security initiatives in line with the speed of cloud-native development in any cloud and at any scale. The approach, which simplifies application segmentation for distributed applications, is based on a distributed architecture and is an alternate implementation of network policy that does not require any external policy controller or state, hence relieving the complexities of overlay topologies.
Aporeto is a cloud-native security company that makes distributed cloud-native applications secure by default without impacting developer speed. Easy to manage and built for modern, agile distributed systems and microservices with unprecedented control through visibility and collaboration, Aporeto’s Trust Profile technology works at any scale on public, private or hybrid clouds.
