SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Via Licensing Corporation today announced that Dolby has joined the impressive roster of global companies participating in Via’s industry-leading LTE (Long Term Evolution) patent pool, which provides a fair, transparent and cost-effective license to all essential LTE and LTE-Advanced patents from Via’s LTE licensors. The announcement comes on the heels of MediaTek joining this LTE patent pool last month.
