FLORENCE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U.S. Properties Group (USPG) is in the spotlight for another huge first. Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inc. is planning a significant addition to its Florence, AL store in the Cox Creek Shopping Center, owned and operated by U.S. Properties Group. The fresh and growing Field & Stream concept store will join the Dick’s Sporting Goods on property in one super store over 60,000 SF, with a projected opening on August 8th, 2017.

In a separate note, Best Buy announced yesterday that they will not be renewing their lease in Florence, AL. In late February, they will be consolidating to a nearby city.

This Dick’s Sporting Goods/Field & Stream super store is a tremendous addition to Cox Creek Shopping Center and just another sign the economy is alive and the U.S. Properties Group’s team is one of the forefront operators that creates deals that close.
The Cox Creek Shopping Center is comprised of more than 173,940 SF of retail space and is approaching full occupancy. With this addition, U.S. Properties Group anticipates demand for space in the project to increase. The shopping center is shadowed by Target and is directly across Cox Creek Parkway from the Regency Square Mall, positioning itself as premiere real estate.
