GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Priority Health, one of Michigan’s largest health plans, announced today that Brian Fedoronko, MD, has been named the medical director for southeast Michigan. He will assume his new responsibilities on December 30, 2016 and will work from the organization’s Southfield office.
In the newly created position, Fedoronko will oversee the overall clinical vision and direction in southeast Michigan. He will lead initiatives that support the southeast strategy for Priority Health such as collaborating with provider network performance team to drive clinical care management, quality improvement and utilization management initiatives within accountable care and specialty networks.

Most recently, Fedoronko served as the medical director for Huron Valley Physicians Association, leading and advising the team of medical experts in Washtenaw, Livingston, Lenawee, and Western Wayne counties. He has also had an outpatient practice in Saline, Michigan since 1998.
Fedoronko is a board member for Physicians of Michigan, St. Joseph Mercy Health Partners and St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Local Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine with a distinction in research. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan within the internal medicine and pediatrics departments. Dr. Fedoronko received his baccalaureate degree from Michigan State University in chemical engineering with honors.
