American Greetings Entertainment Partners With E la Carte to Bring Care Bears™ Content to Restaurants Nationwide

Restaurant technology company expands family gaming suite to engage customers of all age groups

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--()--E la Carte, Inc., creators of the Presto™ Smart Dining System™ for full-service restaurants, announced today that it has partnered with American Greetings Entertainment, the intellectual property and outbound licensing division of American Greetings, to bring engaging children’s content to restaurants and their guests. One of the games featured is Care Bears™ Love to Learn, which allows children to learn in a fun and interactive way. This content, delivered on the at-the-table Presto Terminals, also contains a special winter theme, available for a limited time through January 2017. The partnership supports E la Carte’s continued efforts to expand its gaming suite nationwide, with a special concentration in bringing more children’s content.

The Care Bears’ Love to Learn game includes a series of mini games and puzzles designed to engage and help children count and identify shapes and letters while sharpening cognitive and motor skills. Children play through rounds of activities, facing new challenges each time they play. American Greetings Entertainment develops multi-platform entertainment across all media channels, including a strong lineup of digital programs that immerse children and adults in brands they love.

E la Carte aims to create a family-friendly environment in which games play an important role in improving the dining experience as guests can occupy their time waiting for their meals to arrive. By providing more family-focused content, restaurants can provide a better dining experience to guests of all ages.
